Hi, I'm Sara C. 

Illustrator, designer, and artist. I began in publishing in the time of paste-ups and Freehand. Currently in a day, I'll be designing book covers, surface patterns, hand-lettering, or crafting textile artworks. 

I create spontaneous abstract and textural artwork, inspired by clusters of flora and foliage, birds, dance, traditional costume, and mental health with attention to diversity and inclusion. My observations of human expression shine through in my watercolor pieces, ink illustrations, painted-paper collages, and soft sculptures.

In my commission work, I specialize in digital vectors with a hand-rendered feel often combining bold color with minimalist style. My marks are on the covers and pages of books and magazines in areas like psychology, health, parenting, kids and teens, and fashion. I hope to show some motion design and animation next. 

More of my passions are raising a kind human, being a super fan of stand-up comedy, and learning Amapiano moves.
